Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation on Friday afternoon for 11 counties, including Pottawattamie County, for a recent string of severe storms.
Authorities say just before 3 p.m. on Friday, they received a report that a fisherman went under the water at Wilson Lake.
The disaster proclamation will activate the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and the Disaster Case Advocacy Program for the impacted counties.
