Corrections and Updates
Corrections Policy
NewsSpoiler values accuracy, clarity, and reader trust. This corrections policy explains how readers can report possible errors and how the site may review and update content.
How To Request A Correction
Readers can submit correction concerns through the Contact page. A correction request should include the article URL, the specific statement or section in question, the reason it may be inaccurate, and any supporting context or source information.
Review Process
Correction requests may be reviewed against the article text, available sources, publication context, site records, and any information provided by the reader. Not every disagreement with commentary or opinion language will result in a correction, but factual concerns should be reviewed carefully.
Types Of Changes
Depending on the issue, NewsSpoiler may correct factual errors, clarify confusing wording, update outdated information, fix formatting, add context, or remove material that should not remain published.
Article Updates
When an article is meaningfully updated, the article page may display an updated date and time. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or layout fixes may be made without a separate correction note.
Removed Content
Content may be removed or unpublished if it is found to contain serious errors, legal concerns, privacy issues, spam, abuse, security problems, or other issues that make continued publication inappropriate.
Response Expectations
NewsSpoiler may not be able to respond personally to every request, but correction reports help improve the site and may be used to update or review published material.
